Chris Heslop or "Hesse" as he is often called, provides a multitude of groups for your listening pleasure. His groups include Hesse's Nasty 9 which is a great fit for a club or concert. Their extensive and eclectic repertoire includes anything from Louis Armstrong to Guns-N-Roses to John Philip Sousa and....well, you name it! The Nasty 9 is also equipped to provide a fabulous educational opportunity. In addition to their variety of music, they offer a history of jazz, with emphasis on Louis Armstrong.

The Chris Heslop Jazz Orchestra is an 18-piece modern jazz orchestra. After three years of intensive writing with the BMI/New York Jazz Orchestra, Chris formed a Philadelphia-based all-star ensemble to execute his challenging repertoire. Works influenced by classics like Basie, Ellington, Kenton and modernists like Abene and McNeely as well as French Impressionists, Sci-Fi films and Sasquatch are performed along with several fresh arrangements of timeless jazz standards.

Hesse's Hot 3 is the smallest group in the Hesse franchise and is a great way to add flare to your event. Let them stroll your party or stick 'em in a corner somewhere. The Hot 3 can happily expand to 4 or 5 pieces for added safety and security. Repertoire includes many New Orleans favorites, but also a healthy sampling of early French jazz, some Cuban tunes, horas, polkas, and parade music.
